Inspiration
www.12ftDwende.com (written by Aileen Pagdanganan): Initially what he hears is what he dreams up and what he feels is what he portrays. That’s the basis of his work. It’s through this self-inflicted environment in which he creates and manifests a world of his own design. Accustomed to forming pieces through freestyle expression, Dyno creates his pieces amidst creating his own thought. He’s become an artist that often starts off never knowing exactly what he’s going to draw or paint until the moment strikes a nerve, emotion, or beat. This spontaneous nature is a form of artistry he’s honed ever since he was a child. When he was younger, Dyno was a curious kid who seemed to act upon impulse. Embracing and experimenting with different forms of art at a young age, he’s tried everything from graffiti to graphic design to silk screening shirts, which is a huge step up from burning crayons on a light bulb and sticking crayons up his nose (that’s still art right?) when he was four. “I’m an art FIEND!” Whatever notion of art expression struck Dyno’s mind, he wouldn’t hesitate to pursue it. There was no reason to. Even if he tried, everything in his lifetime has consistently led him to pursue art in any form and fashion. All signs always directed him towards his passion. But it wasn’t until his last year in college when Dyno realized he wanted to take his art to another level. While having taken classes all ranging from photoshop to film to other media arts, Dyno developed more confidence in his craft. He was beginning to realize this is truly what he wanted to do for a living that a regular job wasn’t going to cut it anymore. It was this defining moment when he decided what he wanted to do in life was to share his art with the public.
