
I'm thankful for being a part of this exhibit at 1:AM SF put together by the homie Ganyan of Speaker Fruits. Also being in an exhibit along with Christopher Deleon is also an honor. That dude is amazing! and im not just saying that because he's a cool friend of mine. haha. Other than that dude, just check out the artist list! This show is filled with mad talent!
Here goes a rundown of what the show is about (via Ganyans Blog)
'Tabi Tabi Po is a group exhibition that explores the rich and colorful creatures of Filipino Folklore through Urban Contemporary art, featuring artists who are either Filipino or have Filipino ancestry. The Kapre, Manananggal, Dwende, Tikbalang, and Aswang will be some of the creatures that will be brought to life in this exhibit. This exhibit will explore the cultural significance of Filipino folklore- its' myths and reality. The exhibit is a multi-media installation, incorporating sound, structures, murals, indigenous craftwork and 2-d art, with over 40 artist participants.'
